HELEN CLARK

The renowned Peak District artist, famous for her stunning pet portraits and beautifully captured wildlife paintings, has been resident artist for 12 years at Caudwell's Mill Craft Centre, Rowsley, between Bakewell and Matlock. A beautifully stunning place on the oustskirts of Chatsworth and built on the land belonging to Haddon Hall. Helen has built up her reputation as one the country's leading animal artists. Her clients come from all over the Peak District and the rest of the UK to comission her amazingly lifelike pet portraits and she now has her work in collections on both sides of the Atlantic.

This year sees her move back to her original Gallery at the Mill AT Rowsley, having taken a year's sabbatical, which she used to concentrate on building up a brand new exciting range of paintings and prints depicting the beauty of the Peak District. Helen's looking forward to a fantastic new year, in association with her new business partner and fellow animal lover, a truly superb wildlife photographer called Villager Jim.

Villager Jim

A local photographer specialising in the wildlife and landscape of the beautiful Peak District. Jims' photographs will delight and amaze you with his technically brilliant portrayals of the wildlife he adores. His empathy and admiration for nature simply pours out of his perfect photographs- a fact which always intices Helen to paint his work.
A superb new book has just been published containing just a small portion of his stunning photographs, all taken around the beautiful setting that is the Gallery at Caudwell's Mill and a 10 mile radius beyond. The book also features a selection of Helen's paintings alongside the photograph so you can guess which is which!
